We started American Senior Home Finders to help safeguard and seek quality care for our elderly population, this holds true now more than ever.
It may seem scary, having your loved one in an assisted living community or home at this time. But they offer and provide meals, housekeeping support to help keep a sanitary environment, medication oversight, and in-house emergency response. This can give some peace of mind that they will have the resources needed during this time.
We are exercising safe and preventative actions while conducting visits to potential care homes and communities during the placement cycle with families. Visits of potential homes and communities will continue as usual.
We are in communication daily with homes and communities about the health and safety of the residents and safe practices while bringing in guests to visit. There may be some communities that will limit visits or schedule them at non peak times for the health and safety of the current residents; we will respect that.
The Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division is conducting informational phone calls to licensed communities and care homes regarding safe practices and updates from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) during the heightened health alert.
We are and will continue to provide the same level of personal service as always.
