Seniors & Screen Time

By February 3, 2020 No Comments

Americans 60 and older are spending more time in front of their screens than a decade ago

The amount of time that Americans ages 60 and older spend on their TVs, computers, tablets or other electronic devices has risen almost half an hour per day over the past decade, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of Bureau of Labor Statistics data, even as screen time among younger people has more or less held steady.

What does this mean coming forward? Well, trends are proving to be true, we are going into a more technology based world then ever before. The world at large, not just the senior industry, is having to evolve and constantly adjust to what the current norm is for their clients or audience.

So be on the look out for communities and homes to be more inviting of technology driven activities and devices!
